Purpose
To joyfully and sincerely welcome and assist people coming to Mass or other events at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Importance of the Parking Lot Ministry
The Parking Lot minister is the first interaction many people have when coming to Holy Family.  In addition to being a welcoming presence for a visitor or a member of our parish family, the parking lot minister is also in a position to notice and report any suspicious behavior that may occur.
Overview
Parking Lot Ministers are needed for:

• Larger Sunday Masses
• Holiday Masses
• Conferences and other Church Events

• Welcomes people with a warm, friendly greeting
• Provides easy access from the parking lot to the church building
• Stays aware of surroundings and reports any suspicious behavior
• Manages the flow of traffic by ushering cars into spaces in a safe manner
• Identifies potential problem areas in the parking lots and informs appropriate church officials
• Protects the safety of the pedestrians.

• Scheduled approximately one Sunday per month
• Plan to arrive 30 before scheduled Mass to inspect golf cart, get radio, vest, name tag and begin shift.
• Engage each person with enthusiasm and the love of Christ.
• Notice and report anything suspicious or unusual.
• May stop shuttle service 10 minutes after Mass begins, if you plan to attend Mass.
• We ask that each minister commit to serve for a two (2) year period, at which time they can extend their service if they so desire.
