PURPOSE
To joyfully and sincerely welcome each person coming to Mass and/or other Services and Events at Holy Family Catholic Church. To be aware of locations of events and other common places in the building.
 
IMPORTANCE OF THE INFORMATION DESK MINISTRY
The Information Desk Minister’s role is to provide assistance and direct people to various locations in the parish, as well as answer questions about the parish. 
 
OVERVIEW
Information Desk Ministers are needed for:

• All Weekend Masses
• Holiday Masses
• Conference and other Church events

• Wear a name tag and dress appropriately.
• Always be polite and smile.
• Engage each person with joy and enthusiasm.
• Become familiar with activities of the parish for that weekend.
• Take notes as needed for information that may require follow up.
• Be aware of security/medical procedures in the event of an emergency.

• Scheduled approximately once a month at your preferred Mass Time
• Plan to arrive 20 minutes before Mass begins
• Plan to stay at the desk until 5 minutes after Mass begins
• Immediately after the final blessing at Mass, return to the Information Desk for approximately 10 minutes or until the foyer is reasonably cleared.
• We ask that each minister commit to serve for a two (2) year period, at which time they can extend their service if they so desire.
