The readings below are Scriptures appropriate for use at Catholic Funeral Liturgies. One reading is chosen from each of the Old Testament and New Testament, and one from the Psalms. 
The readings to the left below are to be used outside of the Easter season. 
If the funeral is during the liturgical season of Easter (lasts from Easter Sunday for 50 days until Pentecost Sunday) the readings on the right will be used. 

*Other Scripture passages can be presented to the presider for approval. 

**Non-Scripture readings cannot be read in place of these readings, but could be used in the worship aides or through some other means. 

Please choose one Old Testament Reading, One New Testament Reading, and One Responsorial Psalm reading.  The ones marked with a gold star are the most commons in those areas.   
The Celebrant will choose the Gospel Reading.
